Scratching the surface

Well, it didn't take long for the coalition to realise they have inherited the promised land of other peoples money.

Instead of small State, minimal government, individual responsibility, low tax and freedom, they have decided to trim the nails of the Beast rather than put it back in its kennel where it belongs.

Sure, the slaves are screaming that they may have to work longer in the fields or make do on less rations but ultimately, the beast continues and at best will be reduced to the size it was before New Labour decided to force feed it like corn down the throat of a goose.

Meanwhile across the channel, the more uppity Gallic and Grecian slaves are rioting for a return to the old slavery conditions instead of the new slavery conditions and Massa Sarkhozy refuses to bow to their "demands". Eventually no doubt they will return to the cotton fields on the promise of cut price Gauloise or the right to hunt and eat Wild Boar and all will be well again on the plantation.

This is why I am leaving the system. I intend to be the quiet ex-slave that no one owns and indeed no one even knows exists. My "money" will be in assets that the Slavemaster cannot sell and his promises of more rice in the future for more work now will not affect me in the slightest. My skills and talents do not belong to him to tax as he wishes, they belong to me. The fruits of my efforts will remain mine, not his. My life will be mine, not his.

I'm not doing anything new. Millions of Young men have walked this path before and built strong wealthy societies and nations by simply having the guts to get up and go West.

Time for the Pioneer spirit to return and the limp, bleating, hands held out, victimhood mentality of Socialism to be returned to the pit from whence it crawled a mere 100 years ago.

Slavery is Freedom, War is Peace, Ignorance is Strength - never truer than today. Meanwhile, there's a whole world out there....
