Take your medicine

Well, it appears that the new rules at Hogwarts are not to everyones liking.

We are being treated like benefit claimants. Why don't they just put up a metal grille?
You are benefits claimants. Get on with it and shut up or resign. Good idea with the metal grille.

What happens on a January night in London? I suppose I will have to take the tube, then a bus and then a long walk home. That is not safe.
Welcome to our world. 650 people can change that overnight if they wish by making the streets safe. No one else can. It is after all why you were elected by us.

We just have to accept this because the public is not with us. It will take something really horrendous, such as a woman MP being stabbed on the streets of London because she is not entitled to take a taxi home late at night, before people wake up and realise how unfair this is.
What exactly is unfair about asking you to live in the same society as us? the one YOU created? My hatred of politicians continues......

I'm not asking for them to do anything I'm not prepared to do myself. All I want is the same rules on expenses and taxes to apply to them as to me. How is that unfair?

Incidentally, I notice they can get travel paid for spouses and children. I can't. Why is that?

Of course she is entitled to take a taxi home. She just needs to pay for it her fucking self, out of her own fucking wage, like the fucking rest of us.

What fucking rubbish!

I worked there and I can't say it enough that Politicians are not human.
They have some Sociopathic trait that has been inbred over the last 50 years.
How else could a corporation whose members fail and have failed so badly still think they are worth a damn?
Because they really think it is not their fault as individuals.
It is policies or the ignorant public who don't understand.
The critical press or events beyond their control.
The expense scandal was classic.
"It was within the rules" not my fault guv the system is wrong.
The reason we have a hung Parliament according to them is because of the electoral system.
They will not accept it is because they are all cunts.
That is what the voters said on election day.

I think all MPs, no matter where they live, should get £200 a week, tax and NI free, to spend on whatever they like.

Seems fair to me.

And the idea of giving them a salary or extra expenses goes against the grain! It would be different if they earned it.

If we had no MPs for the next five years, the Civil Service, who run the country anyway, would just get on with the job and, with a lot less interference, would run it a lot more efficiently.

Yes like the unfortunate nurse stabbed to death outside of a hospital by a nutter because she had to leave the premises to smoke.
Labour MP's escecially should be banned from taxis and forced to walk the streets along with the low life they created themselves.
Labour ?
Just fuck off amd die .

Maybe it will take the murder of an MP (female or otherwise) to make this bunch of half-wits realise that they aren't "special" & that they do have to live in the same world as the rest of us ..

If that's what it takes .. so be it .. Let's be fair, none of 'em would exactly be missed ..

OH, Could you devise a list so we could add our favourite MP candidate for being stabbed.

Best make the list 650 lines long though...

You can't stand politicians. Ron Broxted (a.k.a D.Haslam of Bedford) can't stand police). Me? I hate North Koreans. Oh, and gypsies.

Yes, because it's not like you can afford a taxi if you're only being paid £65000 a year.
Thieving cunts.

many moons ago i used to work in the city......after 9 years of commuting i decided to move to london because the trains were always late.....

so i bought a flat in town.....with my own money......when i worked late i got a taxi home..with my own money....

why do these wankers seem to think that they are special?

there are thousands of millions of people working anti-social hours and they have to get buses or tubes etc........and mostly earning diddly squat.......

sack them all..put them on performance based schemes .......

if they do not achieve targets then out they go........no benefits, pensions etc

Leaving the rights and wrongs of the matter aside, what I don't understand is why the default mode for modern politicians is 'whine'. Whatever happened to 'action'?

These people make the rules: if they don't like the way something is (be it tax law or police on the street), surely they can change it?
