Hustings at Kings College
Sorry for the sound quality. It ain't easy speaking through a mask, it was 212 degrees Celsius and the room was full of Cambridge KGB, I wasn't invited and had to threaten them before I was allowed to speak, hence the lack of microphone. I kick off at 17:30
the Candidates -
Martin Booth, Cambridge Socialists - a proper full on "eat the rich" moonbat straight out of Stalingrad. Works in the public sector. Of course. No one else would employ him. I thought his type were extinct after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Peter Burkinshaw - UKIP - Classic grumpy old man, nice bloke, fed up with it all.
Tony Juniper - Green - Professional Campaigner for the rights of lentils, ex head of friends of the Earth (until he had a fight with them). Watermelon (green on the outside, red in the middle)
Julian Huppert - LibDems - Ex councillor, will shake the hand of anyone and will win, hands down. Nice bloke, although his arse must hurt from sitting on the fence all day.
Nick Hillman - Cons - "Professional" politician, waiting for a safe seat. "Works" for Tory HQ or something
Daniel Zeichner - Lab - goosestepping professional politician installed by his union to retake this seat. Has put four years hard work into this campaign and then fucked it up at the last minute.
Me - Uninvited Libertarian gobshite showing all and sundry that anyone can do it. I am the protest vote and the only person to actually ask Cambridge what they wanted. My views are entirely irrelevent
