Hustings at Kings College

Sorry for the sound quality. It ain't easy speaking through a mask, it was 212 degrees Celsius and the room was full of Cambridge KGB, I wasn't invited and had to threaten them before I was allowed to speak, hence the lack of microphone. I kick off at 17:30

the Candidates -

Martin Booth, Cambridge Socialists - a proper full on "eat the rich" moonbat straight out of Stalingrad. Works in the public sector. Of course. No one else would employ him. I thought his type were extinct after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Peter Burkinshaw - UKIP - Classic grumpy old man, nice bloke, fed up with it all.

Tony Juniper - Green - Professional Campaigner for the rights of lentils, ex head of friends of the Earth (until he had a fight with them). Watermelon (green on the outside, red in the middle)

Julian Huppert - LibDems - Ex councillor, will shake the hand of anyone and will win, hands down. Nice bloke, although his arse must hurt from sitting on the fence all day.

Nick Hillman - Cons - "Professional" politician, waiting for a safe seat. "Works" for Tory HQ or something

Daniel Zeichner - Lab - goosestepping professional politician installed by his union to retake this seat. Has put four years hard work into this campaign and then fucked it up at the last minute.

Me - Uninvited Libertarian gobshite showing all and sundry that anyone can do it. I am the protest vote and the only person to actually ask Cambridge what they wanted. My views are entirely irrelevent

I have to hand it to you, you really have balls.

Good luck come next Thursday!

It doesn't take balls.

If I, a stuttering nobody of a fool can do it, anyone can.

Be the change you want to see.

Leftty propaganda show of cowards and traitors said...

These were not simply questions posed by the Peter Sucliff lookalike who appears to have an ovious bias for obvious reasons, he was making false statements framing the questions with his own views in order to bias the replies.

Basically that is not an open debate with unbiased questions that was a propaganda forum.

If the country made the places avaliable at the top universities which are highly sought after then the country itself would be doing a lot better and be a lot less fragmented.

Don't give me the bullshit about the foriegn students fees pay for it all and the place would close down without them, this is an argement which states that our children are not worth investing in and that we would rather help the rest of the world gat the positions taken from us and our children.

Only in a bullshit liberal fascist state can such clowns get away with making such biased and wrong statements, even OH was shitting himself as he answered for fear of being called a racist - they have him cowering from speaking the truth do to the mideia lies and false consensus that empowers the traitors toi destroy the country and the cowards to go along with it.

I watched no more once i realised this was a propaganda event for left wing student union fascists and liars, which went unchallenged.

Ollie Cromwell said...

I'm not watching 113 minutes of that crap. What time are you on?

Anonymous said...

As for any lefty tosspot who says we need the money from foriegn students - which is bull, ask them why we are giving Billions away in third world `aid`(money laundering to NWO puppets and despots) when we could invest in at least 20% more of our young?

Its all bullshit, you are living in a corporate fascist state that aims to destroy the country with marxist claptrap and threats should you vear of the marxist path.

Tolerence = submission to your own demise said...

Peter sutcliff shows that immigration is a trojan horse, you let one in and they hold the door open for everyone else with the help of their deluded marxist chums and fellow anti british racists, they do not hold the door open for tolerance but because they seek to undermine your power as a group and enhanse their own until you have no voice and are a minority.

This is why they organise a million ethnic grouping but none for the British.

Then you will find as in south africa right now, tolerence is a lefty construct that means submission to your own demise and ethnicide as the whites who embraced tolerence now findthemselfs on the end of machettes.

Tolerence of ethnicide said...

In September 2006, a 14-year-old schoolgirl, Codie Stott, asked a teacher if she could sit with another group to do a science project as all the girls with her spoke only Urdu. The teacher's first response, according to Stott, was to scream at her: "It's racist, you're going to get done by the police!" Upset and terrified, the schoolgirl went outside to calm down. The teacher called the police and a few days later, presumably after officialdom had thought the matter over, she was arrested and taken to a police station, where she was fingerprinted and photographed. According to her mother, she was placed in a bare cell for 3 1/2 hours. She was questioned on suspicion of committing a racial public order offence

A mask microphone and shoulder mounted speakers are what you need in these situations.

Well done for ensuring that you had your say for all to hear.

Nice one, OH. Very impressed with your performance. Pity your "opponents" were a bunch of twats.

When are you on QuestionTime???

I nearly got into St Johns college Cambridge one evening. Sadly I was spotted by two fat college porters as I climbed the wall and given a good thrashing before being ejected rudely via the tradesman's entrance whilst the two porters roared with laughter. My futile attempts to convince them I was a college member having fallen on deaf ears.
Later that evening what seemed a very nice Police Constable asked if I had been attacked because I was in drag. Foolishly I told him I had, and before I could shout help the two fat porters reappeared and gave me another good thrashing whilst the plod looked on and encouraged them with shouts of "Get stuck in gentlemen." Since that evening I have never held Cambridge in any regard since that evening.

Biased format, just like the hustings where I am. We have to stop tolerating this charade. You have made a good start OH.

Fausty said...

Ditto, Ollie. Can someone pinpoint Holby's entry in the debate?

Field Marshall Watkins said...

Wicked and a bom bom stylee.

Your opinions of the other candidates made me laff. In regards to sound quality how about a clip on mic and a megaphone?

This can also help in radio interviews etc, you can just feed the mini jack from the mic into the desk and what not.

Still. Keep GOING, as Ian PJ said on his latest post, this election is just the beginning of liberty, regardless of who gets in, the state should never be trusted and people should always call for a reduction in its power.

And yes, I've been drinking lol.

Anonymous said...

Approximately 99 minutes in - from the socialist candidate - ashamed that they're all white males.

They shouldn't be - it should be about the policies, how depressing.

Fausty said...

Holby is at 17:38

Damned fine, Holby! Go, go, go!

RantinRab said...

I've had a sneak preview of Friday's papers. (Hopefully).

Well done ole chap it must have been hard dealing with all them so called experts, but do remember it was the experts that said the Titanic would never sink go get em ;-)

Delphius1 said...

OH, surely you missed a trick on the question about minority and female candidates.

If your model were spread across Parliament (i.e. having proper elected representatives), wouldn't all minorities, genders and sexualities automatically be represented in proportion to their makeup in society?

Or at the very least, their views would have a representative voice via referenda?

Rather than have Parties select candidates artificially and paracute them into wards.

Top class OH
As one who is a couple of light years to the right of the NSDAP,
I am somewhat pleased that out there in the darkness of "democracy" a flickering candle burns. Obviously there are millions
more in the hovels of England but
valour harnessed to intelligence is
in short supply at present.

Please dont worry about the lefties
they are just poultry waiting to be
plucked,sooner than they think.

Wait for the ricochet

OH see what you can do to open up the mouth vent and make it less thick on the inside, at the moment you sound muffled, just a few millimeters with a file and knife could make a drastic diference.

Peter said...

Well done OH. Did my first hustings last night too so know how you were feeling (well, except for the fact I wasn't sweltering under a mask).

Listened to you but can't be bothered to listen to the other 2 hrs of BS.

Just one question ... they introduced as being on the Jury Team - thought you were an Independent now?

Wow, the slapdown OH got on the global warming question was quite harsh.

"But the people say this."

"Tough shit."

For those of you who want to be pointed at the exact points in the video when OH speaks, just use the progress slider below the video and drag it along a bit at a time to skip through it. It takes all over a minute to skip though and its easy to spot OH and reposition the slider to see him full. OH speaks at various points in the video.

Never got that far, as soon as i realised it was a PC propaganda fest I gave up, OH doesnt really know his stuff to carryn any arguments to them to back up why the people might want some of the policies, which while fair and democratic made him look weak compared to the snake oil sales men. though OH had an air of honesty about him that the others could not match and generally left them stumpt, but it left them with room to spout bullshit and propaganda, with the worst being the peter sucliff look alike who was meant to be nuetral - big joke!

Brainwashing the Hitler your through the student unions and marxist teachers, utter cretins.

Sound and Fury was there - and spoke to OH after the debate.

Speaking in public.
I only did it once at the Eco Town council meeting and was shitting myself.
You looked good but verbaly the mask was a handicap though, which was a shame.
Good points all made and you didn't get bummed alive.
Thank you for sticking your neck out OH.

Corrugated Soundbite said...

One or two people in recent comment threads have still got it wrong; looking into what OH knows and doesn't know. It doesn't really matter.

The idea is a childishly simple one - it isn't to foister policy on people, it's to represent their views sincerely and selflessly. Granted, the environment here was shit and overly formal and he was up against some mealy mouthed career tossers, but the idea of being represented as opposed to being told how it's gonna be in x-amount of different ways by said career tossers seems to have sadly died a death among many.

Thank you for the write up, I would have liked it to have been longer as i was enjoyiong the quotes and your clear headed approach.

Here is how the climate change consensus works ( a big hoax to tax and control us and a method to build the foundations on top of the EU for their stated NWO undemocratic world goverment run by corporate cartels and warmongers), Hitler used the same method.

The fact that the worlds most educated and priviledged people who would claim they were NOT ignorant, can fall for such crass tricks is most sad and they would be baying to invade poland had they been around several decades earlier.

Unfortunaytely that is human nature, people are conformists, sheep, which is why the liars much be exposed no matter what the false consensus, only then can the less ignorant break that consensus down.

As for the chair, my word what a biased subversive Joke, this man would have been the first to sign up for the SS as he appears more than happy to trot out state false prpaganda.

Even the chavs seem to be more clued up than these priviledged kids, perhaps decadence has robbed them of their ability of critical thinking and made them lazy of mind.

You got some applause OH , looks a bit similar to the one I went to where with faux socialist vote splitters and positners . I think you were only the only one advocating work based income !

I take it the barrel/lit fuse was removed on grounds of socialists are an endangered species .

The reports of dirty campiagning are interesting , woolas is claiming an attempted fatwah competition leaflet, lib dem office worker tried to help the conservatives , kerry counting postal votes and at least 2 stories on postal vote fraud in uk and one of proxy in pakistan .

Bit of a shame then not giving you an invite , who are they to judge what people should vote for .

Kit said...

That was good stuff. Well done.

Interesting the responses to the idea of asking the people their opinions. Several times that was directly dismissed on the grounds that the people might make the wrong decisions.

Well, it's your lucky day, because I've just finished going through the recording and analysing every unguarded remark, every unworkable policy... with a dash of my own political prejudices thrown in too.

Politicians, you've been HUSTED!

Holbers, you ever been told you sound like Tony Banks the very ex MP for Newham?

I knew I'd heard that squeaky Essex whine before.

Oh, and get some amplification.

Dave said...

Well done OH. Why didn't you grab the mike and speak into it from two inches like the other candidates?
Minus half a point for that 9.5/10

I haven't got far in the vid yet - but damn fine of Peter Sutcliffe to come along and kick the thing off.

Good Job Old Holborn!

Surprised you didnt get booed off, judging by the reaction to the Global Warming question they're a typical bunch of leftists. Ignoring the people as long as it suits them.

I attended my first ever hustings in a town on the edge of the Peak District last week. Nice place, some nice folk, but local politics tends to be dominated by the kind of bien-pensant twats who use the place as a bolthole from the reality of neighbouring Manchester, Sheffield, Halifax, Derby whilst still espousing the all-join-hands-around-the-world bollocks that has made those towns into places they flee.

The tenor of that hustings was dominated by Leftist sentiment: The UKIP guy bravely faced down the crowd's baying over his climate-change-secpticism (you'd think he was advocating reintroducing Slavery); One silly old fool asked the candidates what vision they each had for a world living in harmony.

At least NuLab look set to lose the seat (their candidate's awfulness is shocking)

Good luck with your campaign. In my area we have a homegrown labour tosser, a con "flown in from somewhere South of the border", and a libdem limp-wrister, who really does,nt want to be a PPC!

Fuckin' great!
Im taking the day off come Thursday, taking the kids for a day out somewhere. F**k em all.

A few words from someone who was actually there: this 'hustings' was one of three held at the university, the others were at Peterhouse, a very conservative college, and Clare, a LibDem leaning college. King's on the other hand is famous for being the most socialist of any Cambridge college, which might explain the reaction of the students.

As for all the comments insulting Cambridge students, you clearly know nothing of the University. The fact that half the students here are still from private schools has nothing to do with admissions, it's simply that British comps, thanks to Labour, give shockingly bad education in most cases. I mean, really bad. I personally believe that in meritocracy: if you deserve the prize, you get it. The only thing left to do is reform the school system now.
