April 12th

April 12th is the likely date that the most corrupt Parliament I have ever witnessed in the UK will be dissolved. MPs officially lose their jobs and have to reapply if they want the same after May 6th.

148 MPs have decided simply not to bother (now that they have been caught with their hands in the till). Roughly a quarter. And guess what? They will get, on average, over a million pounds each for their trouble in hard cash and pensions. Let me show you what a million pounds in hard cash looks like.

Now, they are not going to retire. Some of them have lined up cushy little numbers working three days a month for Big Business, some will be off to sit as non execs on boards. Some will find consultancy work or write their memoirs. Some will take up honorary positions in Universities or with the UN or EU or BBC. Some will be fast tracked to the Lords for further uninterrupted troughing at our expense. Let me show you again what a million pounds looks like. Now times that by 148. That's your money, that is. Until May 6th, anyway.

April 13th is Guy Fawkes's birthday. Let's get started by not voting for ANY MP who was part of the last debacle. They did it and if you let them again, they'll do it all again.

I can't even afford to finish my degree this fucking summer.....at least I am being trained to work for a place suchas the UN, and these fucking thieves just wander into those jobs with out any effort but tax from the pitiful wages, from sad arse jobs I have to do in order to scrape by and stay alive in a recession they fuelled.

Livid....does not come close to how I feel at the moment...

But do you do them an injustice?

This is the 1st parliament that has had its expenses examined in such depth by the electorate. And even then, they suppressed some of the details.

Its predecessors just didn't get exposed & caught.

If the EU, and it is well documented that they have, send their rules to be rubberstanped in our parliament, and this is 80% of the business they now do. Why can't this be automated if we get a party in that won't leave, and MPs have a choice.

Reduce their number by the 80% or get their pay reduced by 80%?

I think the time has come to vote UKIP. I worried at first they didn't have enough experience. But who cares, we have seen what is done with "experience" and we certainly don't want more of the same.

People in Cambridge should vote for OH, the rest for UKIP.

Indeed Ampers, reduced responsibility means reduced renumeration surely? They want all the trappings and financial reward but with reduced responsibilities?

Exactly. We do not need 646 MPs

1. an English Parliament.
2. Direct Democracy - hit the red button on your remote if you want out of Europe, a return of hanging, an increase in child benefit etc
3. the ability to sack your MP

We really need to stop paying them for doing stuff we never asked for.

Some old American hag just came to my door and tried to hand me a Labour election leaflet - yes seriously !

I don't think she'll be coming back anytime soon, although I think I might have committed a 'Thought Crime' as she walked away from my front door....

I'm with you OH, if only the rest of the country could be convinced to vote out their incumbent MP's. The chaos resulting from 646 brand new MP's with no leaders to tell them what to think would be a sight to behold.

It is worrying to think that sick nutters like you are allowed out on home visits. How is the grooming going?

I have just been told by a guy in the public toilets at Victoria Station that Beattie McGuinness Bumgay has been awarded the Independent advertising contract. This most noted company will excel in their latest venture, but they have got their work cut out promoting the fortunes of the tired old Indy. At present the only thing worth reading is Ron Broxted's live journal blog. It's amazing!

Could I suggest that any company hiring either directly, or indirectly any of these thieving, lying traitorus bastards be boycotted by the public as a matter of protest.Never attend their speeches and never buy their books.

Yeah, I said ages ago that the way to go is to vote in a complete new crew of MPs, unless the sitting candidate has been a shining example of probity & has worked exceedingly hard on behalf of his/her constituents. That'll be numbers less than the fingers of one hand remaining then?
