++Breaking - Blair lied at Chilcot++

“We do, as a new Government, have to be extremely careful after 18 years in opposition…that we are purer than pure, that people understand that we will not have any truck with anything that is improper in any shape or form at all.” - Tony Blair

The leader of Plaid Cymru's MPs claims he has a memo showing Tony Blair and George Bush struck a secret deal to invade Iraq a year before the war.

Elfyn Llwyd told the BBC's Straight Talk he had written to Iraq Inquiry chair Sir John Chilcot to say he would be prepared to hand the document over.

He says the memo, which is marked "Top Secret and Confidential" contradicts statements made by Ex-PM Mr Blair.

Mr Blair told the Iraq inquiry there had been no "covert" deal with Mr Bush.

A great pity he wasn't under oath and can't be prosecuted for perjury.

Has the leader of Plaid Cymru's MPs forgotten what happened to Dr Kelly???

I heard on a Radio Four program, perhaps a year ago now, that there were also minutes of a JSC-type meeting from, I think, May 2002, that recorded that "regime change" was the agreed position at least as early as then. The speaker was, I think, a civil servant present at that meeting. So there must be documentation out there somewhere. Whether Chilcot & Co desire to find it is another matter of course.

He will sweep all before come election time. His wooden nose getting ever longer as he spouts "You can trust Labour and our manifesto." Which of course we can trust it to deliver great wealth for the inner circle.

A. Loony is right, I never lie.

You know, one of the interesting things about the death of David Kelly is that a police helicopter with an infra red camera performed a detailed search of the area where his body was subsequently found, but saw nothing. Kelly's body turned up 'in the woods', some time later.

One is lead, quite naturally, to suspect that David Kelly was lured to some other location (presumably by people he had no reason to suspect would be a threat), was drugged, killed and then planted in the woods.

The import of all this being that Elfyn Llwyd should be mindful of the fact that, in all likelihood, staying clear of woodland is not a foolproof defense against being found conveniently dead.

So sayeth the knobgobbler.

I should included the observation that the picture of Teflon Tony in earlier years does prove that physiognomy is no mythical science.

My take on it is that Plaid Cymru have probably tried to use the document to get whatever they want from Labour and their bluff has been called.

Interesting.

@to get whatever they want from Labour and their bluff has been called.

most probably so, unless we are to believe that the honourable member for Meirionydd Nant Conwy has only just remembered that he had the memo all along.

wonder how Plaid came by it in the first place?

If the Chilcott enquiry was anything other than a pantomime then maybe something might happen. Does anyone believe that this mercenary lot of warmongers would be queueing up to talk to Chilcott without an army of lawyers otherwise???

Nothing's going to happen, no matter what comes out. It's yet another of the UK elites disgraceful charades at public expense.

I told lies in court once and the jury didn't believe me. I said that the bag full of Kinder eggs I was holding whilst waiting outside the local junior school were presents for the children and nothing more sinister. Actually they were for the headmaster, he used to get me to push them up his bum. I liked doing it because I got to keep the presents inside.
My case was not helped by the fact I was wearing trouser legs tied just above the knee and a leather thong. All this was covered by my old raincoat. Now I am on a register and the fuckers have my DNA.
Where is Lammy....Oooh matron.

Clare Short on 5live today, talking about the fine for BAE systems, describes the deal to sell Tanzania some useless rubbish for £24 million as 'corrupt' and 'rotten' and forced through by Tony Blair against the objections of herself and Robin Cook.

Is there no country or people that shit wouldn't screw over to line his own pockets?

Does anyone know the law regarding getting a Russian passport? There were a few lines in "Wiki" about anyone "of Russian ancestry" being able to do so. Said the same about Spain, I applied today, I did that before but no reply. Dios Mio, maybe (talvez) I hope to get a job in an orphanage there as they do not do checks like here. Maybe I will bump into Mr Putin, he likes boys and bottoms? Poland also seems to have a similar law.
Granny from Giby/Kopchewo/Suwalki? The Serbs have some nebulous law on the right of return for ethnic Serbs. Israel? I am not Jewish (enough). Nu ka, nu ka, nu ka. The only other thing that happened today was my illustrious arsehole got stretched by an enormous darkie in the public bogs in town. God he was rough....Oooh matron. He fucked me like a Tiger. I'll be ochin' tichni' until later. Anybody got any news on any left-wing shit's plans to ban the BNP and offshoot groups?

Agreed Demetrius, those eyelids definitely show 'doper's droop'.

Doc Trough - re. Alfred E Newman, you beat me to it: are they perhaps related, I think we should be told. Only difference is that he needs a tooth knocking out - I volunteer.
