Up to 10 years in clink for 4 MPs

Four parliamentarians could face jail terms of up to ten years if found guilty of fiddling their expenses after a file on their alleged frauds was sent to the Crown Prosecution Service by Scotland Yard.

he files relate to four people, from both the House of Lords and the House of Commons and will now be subject to CPS consideration on whether there should be any charges.

Listening to the twats on the news I get the feeling nothing will come of this.
It will not be in the public interest(a huge lie) or insufficient evidence (shredding time) and lessons will be learned and a line drawn under it and they will happily go on stealing our money......Bastards all!!!

"up to 10 years" - my fat arse!

They'll get a similar fate to that 'lord' who killed a bloke on the motorway while texting: "slapped wrist, send them home with a clean slate because it's in the public interest to keep them as MP's" or some other patronising shit.

Put them in the stocks for just 24 hours. That would be justice...

Is Brown a basket case or closet case?

"Is Brown a basket case or closet case?"

Yes.

Well on a positive note, at least it's a fucking start.

Let's hope someone with a fairly large pair has the actual bollocks to make sure those thieving bastards go up before the beak.

Then they find a judge who can't be blackmailed (Hmm, tough one) who will actually send the thieving bastards to the can for 10 years.

Tall order, I know, but sometimes 'you gotta have hope'.

I dont really know if you just love "winding us" up - you know most of its just crap.

Chaytor and Morley will get fines and suspended sentances, the others will get off.

Olly Garchy,  23 November 2009 19:02

There is about as much chance of any of them being prosecuted as Elvis, Princess Di and Lord Lucan landing, in a UFO, on the head of the Loch Ness Monster and declaring they are in a three way marriage.

It will be brushed under the carpet. There VERY rarely get done.

The rotten British Establishment will look after its own. They have nothing to fear.

Rogerborg 23 November 2009 20:11

I dunno, the other 642 might think it's a good bargain to make. Throw 4 to the wolves, draw a line under it, then its snouts back in the trough again. I mean, not that they've actually stopped.

Oldrightie 23 November 2009 20:20

Harmer is a Labour placeman for a good reason.

The sceptics certainly have a point. There will be nothing of any significace comes of this. Pity the same folk couldn't be a bit more sceptical about the 'lawful rebellion' bollocks.

DSS Fraud advert. "There were four hundred and fifty thousand benefits cheats caught last year, it's not a case of will I be caught but when. Remember we are watching you." Yeah, right you cunts, what about the six hundred and forty-five fiddling cunts in parliament, just six up for a decision by the CPS?
Anyway Mr DSS investigator you can take your video camera and shove it up your arse because I am now wearing a burka when I go out.

I'll believe it when I see it. Whitewash is fashionable these days, as is farce.

The latest pantomime before christmas.

AngryDave 24 November 2009 22:33

Every single one of those dirty thieving shits should be locked up forever! But, i would put money on the fact that not even one will ever see the inside of a prison cell.
I would rather the fuckers just got put down, and all their assets seized.

thelunaticarms 24 November 2009 22:37

Hahaha... nothing will come of it. And even if it does, they'll get an easy ride, write a book and then become a pompous after-dinner speaker.

Corruption in a Public Office should be a hanging offence. In public is preferable.

Those that use the State to enrich themselves while endangering the Nation should be made examples of, not given the white-glove treatment.

But we do not live in a Fair and Just world.

Our world consists of the Ruling Class and the underclass.

Don't think I'll hold my breath on this one! As ever, in Brown's Stasi UK, thieving, lying cunts will get away with it as long as they're part of the 'in' crowd. A good cull at Westminister would clear the air of corruption.

To be governed is to be watched, inspected, spied upon, directed, law-driven, numbered, regulated, enrolled, indoctrinated, preached at, controlled, checked, estimated, valued, censured, commanded, by creatures who have neither the right nor the wisdom nor the virtue to do so. To be governed is to be at every operation, at every transaction noted, registered, counted, taxed, stamped, measured, numbered, assessed, licensed, authorized, admonished, prevented, forbidden, reformed, corrected, punished. It is, under pretext of public utility, and in the name of the general interest, to be placed under contribution, drilled, fleeced, exploited, monopolized, extorted from, squeezed, hoaxed, robbed; then, at the slightest resistance, the first word of complaint, to be repressed, fined, vilified, harassed, hunted down, abused, clubbed, disarmed, bound, choked, imprisoned, judged, condemned, shot, deported, sacrificed, sold, betrayed; and to crown all, mocked, ridiculed, derided, outraged, dishonoured. That is government; that is it's justice; that is its morality.
