Operation Rize- You Are Going To Pay For This,And You, And You

If in doubt of how the Police are out of control read about 'Operation Rize' because you are going to have to pay out the compensation to the eighty per cent of people involved who were innocent.

The Judge who granted the warrant,in effect granted the equivalent of authorising the kicking in of every door an a largish housing estate. Somebody needs to have a chat with him as well.

With all that loot kicking around, some of it did not survive the attentions of the Police, and allegations are being made of a little light fingerness by the Met.

This was a 'fishing exercise'to end all 'fishing exercises' and you are going to pay for this through your taxes.

With a Written Constitution, some very senior Policemen would be facing jail, but hey this is England, nothing you own is safe anymore.

Fuck the police.

They're just the biggest and best organised of the criminal gangs that run this country.

It is going to cost millions before it is even finished. The lawyers have encircled the met police wagons. I understand that each box now requires it's own warrant. Yes there are stil some to do - but not as many as before. Too late it seems as people are on to them now. Poor old DCI Ponting who suffers from short man syndrome, it was meant to be his finest moment and the means to go higher up the ladder of over promoted incompetence, mind you considering Cressida Dick he still has a good chance if he is ever released from this purgatory of his own making! Cunt!

For some reason this part really got to me.

POCA is to be extended to council jobsworths.

"Draconian police powers designed to deprive crime barons of luxury lifestyles are being extended to councils, quangos and agencies to use against the public, The Times has learnt.

The right to search homes, seize cash, freeze bank accounts and confiscate property will be given to town hall officials and civilian investigators employed by organisations as diverse as Royal Mail, the Rural Payments Agency and Transport for London.

The measure, being pushed through by Alan Johnson, the Home Secretary, comes into force next week and will deploy some of the most powerful tools available to detectives against fare dodgers, families in arrears with council tax and other minor offenders.

The radical extension of the Proceeds of Crime Act, through a Statutory Instrument which is not debated by parliament, has been condemned by the chairman of the Police Federation. Paul McKeever said that he was shocked to learn that the decision to hand over “intrusive powers” to people who were not police was made without consultation or debate."

Hat tip to Timmy Worstall. As I said there, if the Police are blustering that this extension is not on they will start demanding even more authority.

Another example of the filth taking liberties. OK so 20% of the boxes contained cocaine firearms and stolen property along with loads of dodgy money, but that is no excuse. If I had anything of value I would think twice about putting it in a security box. Sadly however after a lifetime on State Benefits due to my allergy to job interviews I am potless and have to rely on rich punters who want it rough for those little extras.

In the new east germany.....
6717 boxes.and about 6 yes 6 cases where the boxes may have contained something not kosher.

as usual plod were making lots of overtime......

it is always the same.....politicians,lords,police all steal our money and waste it!!!

gordon brown gave india nd china a £billion-yet they both have sent rockets to the moon!!!!ffs!!!!!

no accountability has led us to where we are now-

the above groups are all in league together........

why the fuck arent the police arresting the mps and lords?

silly question-because the top plod all expect knighthoods........

and now we have that nice alan johnson introducing his own laws.....a fucking useless postman!!!!!!!!

This is equivalent to Police raiding every home in the area, confiscating jewellery boxes and demanding that everything in there is accounted for by the owners. The owners of the jewellery, unable to prove the necklace belonged to great aunt ada, or that their late godmother gave them a ring when they were in their teens, could then expect the Police to keep the jewellery unless the owners could afford a lawyer. It is just plain theft.

It's what a State does. They already take most of what we earn, why not the rest?

Eveything is OK. Stay calm and do not panic

Rogerborg said...

What were SO19 doing there all tooled up? Were they expecting to have a shoot-out with the boxes?

Or - and this may be somewhat rhetorical - is it just that they're a bunch of Small Men who jump at any opportunity to get all Gansta'd up and swagger around in front of the cameras?

Not all the police are bad.

Granted, the top brass of the Police are nothing but political officers, promoted because of their willingness to impose party dogma on the rest of us.

The lower ranks are a different story. Once you separate out the simple thugs and careerists, there are an element that are genuine coppers. These are the ones who see every day the reality of the corrupt establishment’s disastrous social engineering policies, and all the lies and deception that go with it.

Like the armed services, many in the rank and file at the sharp end will be utterly disgusted with the Quisling political class and their utter betrayal of this country.

Notice that the burden of proof of innocence is on the box-holder.

Now it's not just police that can enter your home without warrant and seize your possessions and bank accounts.

Our b@stard government has given these powers to councils and QUANGOs and will be giving such 'agents' cash incentives to loot.

Except in Scotland, of course.

How soon before they get wind of someone who keeps his mattress stuffed with cash because he doesn't trust banks. Any old jumped up charge will do - we're all guilty of something now.

Hell, and if you cause them too many problems, there's always FTAC to shut you up.

Saw this via The Englishman's blog aggregator:

Michael Crick: Football fans enter the public spending debate

"In the second half a long line of police appeared in front of the United end, dressed in full flourescent riot gear and helmets, and accompanied by several nasty-looking police dogs.

So the following response suddenly erupted from United fans:

"We pay for your hats. What a waste of council tax!" they chanted. "We pay for your hats!"

And later, a modification on that:

"We pay for your dogs. What a waste of council tax! We pay for your dogs!"

Five hundred police !!!!!!

That's about 450 too many. Time for some serious redundancies if they have that much manpower to waste.

Did you know you can buy gold in the UK. But you have to prove your name and address when you do. Wonder why that is then?

What Gareth said

Surprised you did not mention this OH, or perhaps that was the whole point of your post ?
