In The Court Of Public Opinion, Harriet, Tony Blair Is A War Criminal

The Iraq Inquiry has started,

“We said right from the start that one of the Inquiry’s first priorities was to hear from the families of those who died during the conflict and others from the UK who were seriously affected, including those who served in Iraq.

“It’s an important part of our preparations - we want to know what they think the Inquiry’s priorities should be and hear about any concerns they may have. I’m encouraged that so many families have expressed a desire to be involved in the Inquiry process, either through these meetings or by setting out their thoughts in writing. The Committee looks forward to hearing their views.”

Sir John Chilcot- Chairman The Iraq Inquiry

From those bereaved who met the Committee yesterday the common theme is that Blair has blood on his hands and led this country into an illegal war and is a war criminal. Brown fares little better as Chancellor kept the armed forces short of vital equipment.

The Political Classes are not going to indict Blair, so Chilcott is the only trial that Blair is going to get over Iraq.

As much publicity as possible should be given to the inquiry to prevent Blair becoming EU President.

It is the turn of serving soldiers to give evidence next, and they have been told not to hold back and anything they say will not be added to their service record. (Of Course that is going to happen in this Stasi State!)

The cunt should be taken to a place of execution and hung by the neck until dead. I really do mean that as well.

Let's hope that Sir John does as good a job as Sir Thomas Legg has done, so far.

The BBC is beginning to change its tune - it has harboured a grudge since the Gilligan affair and is looking for ways to get even, but it is worried about risk to itself because it knows it just does not have the level of public support which it once did.

he should at least be prosecuted for the dodgy dossier and the impassioned speech in the house.......lying in the house used to be a serious affair.

You are going soft on them.

Even my solution is a bit too kind.

I see one of the dead soldiers' Mums has asked for him to be indicted as a war criminal. Good for her & for all the parents who are speaking out on behalf of their dead loved ones. I don't think there has ever been such a scandal in the UK as surrounds the Iraq War, De David Kelly & '45 minutes'. All down to the lies & machinations of one man - Anthony Charles Lynton Blair - may his name live for ever as the ultimate example of infamy.

Apologies, obviously that is Blair to be indicted as a war criminal, not the soldier.
Likewise DR David Kelly. Sky high blood pressure had got to me as I wrote.

I hope to see Blair in the dock at The Hague on war crime charges.
He sould never be allowed to become the President of the EU.

Whatever happened to the Downing St memos? Flushed down the memory hole? I remember it blowing up in the media, only for them to be conveniently distracted by some crazy prick going around murdering people up north.

They said "the facts and intelligence were made to fit around the policy", which is cast iron evidence of conspiracy to plan and wage aggressive war. Blair committed the supreme international crime. Never mind Cromwell, we need a new Pierrepoint.
