Another fucking SCAM funded by you and I

I notice Action Aid are DEMANDING that the EU pay it's "climate debt". Whatever that means.

Oh, this

ActionAid estimates that the EU should be providing at least €42 billion a year to developing countries by 2020. Around half of this figure should go to helping people to adapt to climate change in the most vulnerable countries.
Tum ti tum. Quick check at the Charities Commission and their accounts.

Yup: Government and EU funding:

£2 million from the UK Govt
£7 million from the EU
£833K from the Lottery

£10M from a total of £13M comes from the public purse.

162 employees managing to eat up £5.5 Million a year in salaries. Funded by you and me.

STOP SHITTING IN OUR FUCKING FACES. YOU WON'T LIKE US WHEN WE ARE ANGRY

UPDATE: The EU has agreed to pay €90 BILLION A BASTARD YEAR for our "ECO CRIMES"

OT, best news I've heard all day.

"It would be right to describe Tony's chances as fading," one source said... "There is and will remain a link for the next generation between Iraq, Bush and Tony Blair."

What I want to know is this ......

How do I set up one of these fake charities? I want to study the effect of climate change on the tax-haven islands of the Caribbean.

Sorry for O/T but is NSPCC fake?

Bodyswerved one in town yesterdat - his opening gambit was "Can I ask you a stupid question?"

You can get angry all you like. As long as you SUCKERS keep paying tax they will keep stealing it from you and coshing you to get it.

OH - an extra line about the 'rithetic wouldn't go amiss = £5M in salaries to 162 shrill shiny halfwit arses is £30,000 a year i.e. about £600 a week each. English vocab failure when thinking about insults to hurl.

Let's start a charity to populate Mars and give them a planet all of their own to fret about...

Too many charities - and most are fake for sure. I read somewhere that they can keep 90% of what they collect as "admin costs" - can't find the link though.

And the only way they can cut our CO2 emissions by 80% is by culling the population.

And I wouldn't put that past them either judging by the blatant disregard for human life the Powers that Be have shown.

MediaWise is another "charity" to keep an eye on, past donors have included the European Commission and also George Soros' Open Society Institute.

How fucking dare they???

The cheeky bandwagon riding chumps.

Does anyone in their right mind give a penny to these con artist charities?

Your local council has probably signed the 'Nottingham Declaration'
A nest of quango's making money from climate change.
I discovered this fuckwittery while fighting against a proposed Eco Town for my area.
Despite being a Conservative run council I was suprised at all the ecoshit we have been subject to.
Large windfarms, punative recycling and then this eco town bid.
My area needs investment but it seems investment only comes via a third party quango if you prostate yourself to the enviromental god.

Anon 13:12 - I'm with you on this! Best piece of news today - and for a long time.
The Curse of Jonah Brown strikes yet again?
I reckon he waited until he knew Blair's prospects were fading before he offered his support - you know McSnot - never one to commit himself to anything (apart from lining his own pockets & betraying the UK at every turn that is).

I think McBroon has also realised that his apparent support for Bliar won't do his already dire chances at the next GE any favours.

So 162 people are required to give away the remaining £7.5m in aid are they!

Here is a plan for Action Aid:

1. Reduce your staff by 159 people

2. Keep 2 people who are responsible for both research and keeping a blog / website running

3. Keep 1 person to hand out the £7.5m to worthy causes

4. Use the massive saving on the £5.5m wage bill to help people that need the actually need the aid.

Fuck sake you might have warned us about that "their accounts" link OH. A massive pdf file and then a shocking picture from a Bradford lentils market. Have to go for a sit down now and relax.

162 people !!!!!

Warren Buffett runs Berkshire Hathaway (turnover $107,786,000,000) with a staff of 20.

Fewer and fewer of us paying for more and more of them.

Corporations are largely responsible for our 'eco-crimes' via overkill packaging and their lobby groups lobbying for exemptions - something with which our politicos are rather too familiar.

We could more effectively cut carbon emissions (assuming that was the real goal) by more closely vetting the deals done between governments and corporations - they are undoubtedly not bothering to cut theirs.

Indeed, once this venal pack of rats are out of office, their appointments, via revolving doors, will probably confirm that we all already suspect - they have been bought.
