Prescott certainly is to the English language what brown is to maths and finance both are virtually unemployable outside of politics.

Be afraid, be very afraid, McSnot wants to become a teacher!

Couldn't you just immagine the kiddies running away, screaming in terror as he shows them his Childcatcher smile?

Wonder if he'd get through the ISA vetting so beloved by Beatrix Campbell? - see OH earlier today

I have just completed a process of 'upskilling' in my 'umble trade; this was voluntary in that "If you don't do it now you may have to pay for it later when they/we make it compulsory ".

The training itself was risible, the Skills Providers were a self serving, corner cutting joke. The cost to YOU, dear Blogger ? A mere £1,500 for just me paid for by said Department Of Education & Skills.

Times that by perhaps 200 persons in my small city and say 100 again for the whole country ( pure guesswork ) = £15million for worthless 'upskilling' in one occupation alone.

I imagine that quite a few Higher Education building projects could have been built with that money or places found for our aspiring 6th formers now denied places at University.
