Transport campaign group praises council for pay-to-park move

Those in favour of the proposals, mooted by the Transition Exeter Transport Group (Fake Charity Alert!!! for starters ) say the move would create equality with businesses in the city centre, whose customers have to pay to park.
Exeter City Council’s 'executive committee' has backed the proposals These would see increased business rates which would be passed on to customers through parking charges.

I wrote to Dave when he said he was going to devolve power to local people. I asked him if he would be handing back the power to allow smoking in Pubs etc to Landlords. He wrote back basically telling me to fuck off. Look at Boris, first thing he enacted was a ban. The Tories could be even worse than Labour when it comes to throwing their weight about.
