After the cabinet meeting today I fear it would make no difference even if it did happen. We can still hope though.

They just want to trough for another twelve months. Thats the measure of them. They know Brown is a liability but will settle for a quiet life, knowing they are despised but able to trough for a little longer.

Wouldn't be surprised if a stalking horse arrives on the scene soon. Gordon's political strength is as weak as a bald Samson.

Charles Clarke or Purnell could fire the starting pistol, I guess. My main fear is Harm Men would win the contest with a conspirational well thought ahead plot agreed by the sisterhood an age ago. What a farce the Labour party has become.

The problem for Labour is that most of the plp is comprised of 3rd raters who couldn't mount a viable challenge. Their lack of talent means that the Gorgon goes on.

Why else has he had to pack his cabinet with the unelected?

woman on a raft said...

Sorry OH, not this time.

The palace coup might have succeeded if they had kept their powder dry until Monday lunchtime, then launched all at once, when Gordon would have been at his weakest and and have put his doomed re-shuffle in place, and the party was in shock.

Instead, they forced his hand a few hours too early and he had just enough sense to turn it over to Mandelson rather than Balls, thereby saving what is left of his skin. They did this because in their heart of arrogant hearts they thought that Gordon might pull a victory out of the local or EU elections and so miscalculated that he would be weakest when the polls closed, not when the count was in.

Politics, like comedy and sex, is a matter of timing.

He's a trougher too is he not? Look out for leaked revelations if he dares to speak out. His best hope is to get re-elected by constituents who think he's a good guy, then some power in the shadow cabinet after the election defeat.

It looks like the Liebour strategy is to tough it out with Baldrick, then ditch him as near to the end of the Parliament as they can in the hope a new leader limits the damage.

Home Office is a poisoned chalice. Johnston will have to be good to thrive there.

The great sadness is that we will all be hundreds of billions further in debt in 12 months, and our opportunity to end the Lisbon Treaty will have been lost. The Irish will ratify in October and its game over. That might polarise Conservative opinion too, leading to divisions in the Blue camp. Maybe thats what Liebour are hoping for.

The hidden war against you said...

The society in which we live is subject to accelerating unprecedented negative change probably never before seen in the history of humankind. The diverse global cultural values of individual countries are under attack and in the initial process of destruction. The national identity of individuals is on the road to anonymity based on ignorance. The process of globalisation responsible for this phenomenon is executed under the guise of philanthropy and racial harmony. The objectives behind this process are far from philanthropic or harmonic and if achieved will have led the human race so far down the road into subjugation and misery that extrication will be extremely difficult. The stand has to be made now before the rot becomes more formidable. The primary aim of the process of globalisation is to enslave the masses for the benefit of the few.

Of course, as Bourdier and Wacquant (1999) among others have warned, we must always be cautious of the way we use the term globalisation, because, perhaps more often than not, it is a concept that is used arguably to depersonalise and anonymize the real power structure while in fact we know that the top of the global power hierarchy is formed by the Wall Street- Treasury complex and its political puppets and economic allies in the U.S. and other Western countries.” (Hamm & Smandych 2005).

The authors are telling us that the political leaders we have elected are nothing more than puppets of the rich. The authors further inform us that globalisation is a process in which the rich are tightening their grip on the lower majority social classes in their enhancement of their contemporary totalitarian regimes.

The CHIEF seemingly harmless method by which the conquest of globalisation is being executed is known as soft power domination. The process is defined as “the ability to achieve desired outcomes in international affairs through attraction rather than coercion” (Joseph S. Nye).

The method relies upon seduction rather than the threat that is the basis for hard power encroachment the other side of the coin. The use of hard power techniques was seen at the recent G20 protests in which the police appear to have killed Ian Tomlinson.

The deaths of John Smith, Dr. Kelly and Robin Cook were also probably related to the hard power approach … hard power is usually only used where soft power methods are ineffective.

cont...

the hidden war against you - part 2 said...

...cont.

The recent scandals involving M.P. s’ immoral expense claims are part of the soft power style of social dominance. The high levels of M.P. s involved exposed the wide spread practice of soft power seduction in the area of finance related to high-level politics.

The majority of modern power dominance has been achieved through soft power. The areas involved in soft power social dominance can be found in the form of “movies, pop music, television, fast food, fashions, theme parks” (Hamm & Smandych 2005).

Yes, a harmless looking artificial iconic hamburger is probably more effective in acquiring social dominance than a hand grenade. The use of soft power often goes unrecognised and thus unchallenged with its invisibility making it highly formidable.

The recognition of this process is essential in the fight against it. The effect of soft power can insidiously undermine the cultural values of a society with those values being replaced by the values of the cultural threat.

The social values which our children ape are set by the Plutocrat … the Plutocrat controls the music and fashion industries that in turn control the pop stars that control the actions of our children. The cultural norms to which young people in this area aspire have been introduced through soft power domination techniques. The Pied Piper had nothing on these guys.

CONCLUSION

The evidence suggests that the rich control our society
That our society only masquerades as a Democracy
That our elected political leaders are puppets of the rich
That the things we are brain washed into thinking we like are spelling our undoing and is part of the process of globalisation
That when a subject resists soft power ruthless hard power techniques are used to overcome the challenge
That globalisation is in the disinterest of the majority of the population of the U.K.

So what can we do?

We have to cut off the tentacles of the controlling forces starting with the European Union and re-establish our identity and self determination while bringing our politiciains and media manipulaters to book: vote for ANYONE outside of the inner circle of corruption, reject all media that encourages it and be fully aware of soft power encroachment that comes in many forms. Let’s hear it from Hamm & Smandych:-

“Yet, collectively, we also recognise that even under the most repressive regimes, resistance to attempts at political- economic cultural dominance is not necessarily impossible”

It is time to learn how to stockpile means of self defence. Having been disarmed as a population, no guns, almost no knives, we have to improvise any way we can. The day will come when we have to defend ourselves against those that knock at the door, with any means we can. Youtube is a good place to start, and the SAS handbook is pretty damned good too....JD.

Second-rate undergraduate Marxist Sociology essay bollocks. The sort of conspiracy crap that gives twats like McEgan a hard-on

I eat McDonalds because I actually like it - it doesn't mean the New World Order(sic) have taken control of my mind.

When I go on holiday I like to seek out locally sourced farm produce as well - I'm particularly partial to Andalucian pork steaks.

So please, take your naieve student bullshit and try and use it to chat up some airy-fairy student girls in the Union bar, you cock.

My guess is he'll chicken out. Just shows that the members of the PLP are mere windbags - all mouth & trousers - no honour, no integrity - just concerned with lining their own pockets & willing to put up with the Damned Delusional One-Eyed C**t if it brings them in some more expenses. Been watching that fool with the floppy hair - Ben Brogan is it? - spitting blood about the UK electing 'facists' to the EU Parliament. Excuse me c**t, could you please explain the difference between 'fascists & the current govt? None whatsoever apart from one being right wing & t'other being left wing? Thought so! Now f**k off & go fill your pockets at my expense, as you normally do.

If you think the Burger was a direct reference to food, rather than a one size fits all impending political structure and culture, then I pity you.

Open you mind!

Still you exposed your ignorance by refering to the piece as Marxist.

It is in fact Libertarian.

As for conspiracies, yes there are many, one such conspiracy that has since half come out into the Open is the European Union once it ceased to be a trade body which it was mandated to do and started making rules on our freedom of speech and our border controls without so much as a `by your leave` from our ALL our politicians in spite of massive public opposition, you would think that at least one party (or should I say leader - you only need to control the leader) would want to capitalise on that public feeling?

Kelly, Smith etc, who knows?

But then when a group lie to get you into a war and kill millions of inocents then I wouldn't put it past them to bump of the odd politician standing in their way.

Would you?

A question for you Libertarians :

If this case went to court and it was proven beyond all doubt that she was guilty and also (please God let it not be true) the children were those in her care, then would you agree that the death penalty was an appropriate punishment ?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/devon/8090790.stm

Or would you prefer to take tax dollars out of my pocket to pay for her long-term incarceration ?

Genuine question. Genuine answers please.

Anonymous said...

It's a bad example for that particular question, because the crimes she is accused of would not merit the death penalty in any country that still has it. Hardly Myra Hindley.

But that is merely a value judgement.

Forget what other countries might or might not do to someone convicted of such crimes - what punishment do *you* think such crimes merit ?

I'll go first - a conviction for abusing and photographing said abuse of toddlers in your care warrants a bullet to the head.

Simples.

Well, personally I think that not giving your full support to our Dear Leader Comrade Brown deserves the death penalty, but that's just a value judgement. This country is full of wreckers, that's why the New Labour project is foundering. Purge them all! I denounced my neighbours for smoking and overfilling their wheelie bin. What have you done for New Labour?
