Saturday 23rd May, Noon

ALL OF THEM MUST GO.

Come and tell the fraudster MPs what you think of them. Bring saucepans, kettles, drums, horns, whistles. We've had enough. Our taxes have been ripped off by bankers demanding bailouts for their champagne lifestyles; now the MPs are laughing in our faces with their brazen claims: for moat clearance; grouse-beaters; helipads; swimming pools; fur-lined loo seats; mole-traps; and claims for imaginary mortgages!
The summer of middle-class rage starts now! And working-class rage? you ain't seen nothing yet!
Dress code: Guy Fawkes, the only man ever to enter Parliament with honourable intentions; recommended interpretation: V for Vendetta.Mask only from £4.50, to full costume from £39.99, from UK vendors – see:http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=V+for+Vendetta+costume&scoring=p

A minor problem. The troughing tw@s won't be sitting and, on that basis, what's the point?

I'll be there in spirit but it's impossible to attend. Maybe if I lived near London.

Best of luck to you Old Holborn, please tell us how you get on.

I'm happy to come over from Northern Ireland but is it worth it if plod scalps are not taken? Tomlinson, de Menezes, the increasing litany of innocent blood spilled. It demands revenge. "He'll be back, and he'll be millions" (Spartacus).

Dear O'H thanks. It isnt Kev, its Khaled. Or Kirill. Would you like me to do a bit on this "happening" or "The Independent"?

"is it worth it if plod scalps are not taken?"It's not about the police. There's no point beating a dog for the failures of its master. If we had decent politicians the police would never have become the out-of-control attack hound it has descended to.

We were proud of our police once and can be again, but first we have to deal with the scumbags who have re-designed honest coppering to be the service you would barely wish to admit being a member of.

Deal with rotten members in the 646 and much else falls in to line. It is conservation; exactly what you do with an old building when some parts have been eaten by damp and beetles.

Raft woman,Britain has become de facto and de jure a police state. You will find it was easier to build one than it will be to dismantle it. Yes in 1960 we had the halcyon days of decent bobbies. No longer. Whose fault is that? Not mine. Wear the uniform pay the price. Tomlinsons epitaph?"WE slotted a hippy yesterday".New Scotland Yard delenda est.

Mr McEgan: I fully accept that and believe there must be a reckoning for the police. I could not agree more with everything you say.

However, my reading of the history of political activity in Britain is that it tends to neutralize itself by having too many challenges on the go at once.

The halcyon period - which really happened, it isn't the imaginings of old people saying summers were warmer and you got more for a tanner - existed because there was a post-war concensus about what decency and freedom meant. Much of that concensus has broken down, allowing the police to interpret narrow, self-serving, ladder-climbing, PC point scoring definitions on to their jobs.

A simple first lesson is needed; even the fickest member of ACPO must realize that if the 646 are not sacred, neither are they.

Dear Ms Raft-Woman, The halcyon days were directly attributable to WW2. Society was deferential. Men had been in the armed forces, were used to taking orders. The downside was that fitting up was de rigeur, a posh voice would get you off the hook and that 93% of the population who owned 7% of the wealth were (still are) crapped on. My war has simmered for half a life-time. 1977 to 2004 it was impersonal. They are sub-human excreta but so what? I wasnt bothered. 2004 they were stupid enough to cross me. Rom 12.8 Vengeance is mine...

It's time: No confidence? Time to speak up.

A discrete, well-behaved gathering of people. And Old Holborn.

Be there...

I'll be there. Bear in mind though that the fuckers don't work weekends and they're on recess for 'whitsun', workshy cunts.

So they'll be watching it on Sky, on the Plasma TVs we bought them.
