Some worm, I can't remember whether he was a paid-up Labour toady or just a commentator, was saying the same thing on the news yesterday. Dismissing calls for an election on the grounds it would interrupt the functioning of government and asking what would happen if another bank failed and the state couldn't step in because of the election process.
The fact this is an excuse for never holding any election ever didn't seem to cross what passes for his mind. And we're ruled by these people, it's a fucking tragedy.
Nasty stuff all that voting..untidy too...best done away with....you have to love this stuff.
