Red Toryism

"We are a Conservative Party not a libertarian party. As both I and David Cameron have argued, Conservatives have always understood the limitations of free markets on their own. We understand that unless markets are embedded in strong institutions, laws and cultural norms they can become free-for-alls that are prone to instability and end up benefiting the powerful at the expense of the needy. Indeed, many of the problems we face today have been exacerbated by the weakening of many of those institutions – not least the Bank of England."

George Osborne

More misrepresentation from Boy George, this is the second time that the Tories have misrepresented Liberatarianism, expressed their hostility to Liberty, and have reinforced that they are by default an Authoritarian Big State Party.

A vote for Cameron is a vote for more of the same, Libertarians like Carswell,Redwood and Hannan are perceived as more of a threat to Cameronian, no ideology, no policies Tory Party.

I cannot believe Hannan hasn't been thrown out yet. Totally unacceptable behaviour,in Cameron's tories. A tory behaving like a tory. I'll bet the rank and file members would much sooner have Hannan leading the party than the Blair-clone.

Good post. Red Tories will go nowhere - not even with Conservative voters.

Yes then you will do the same to get Cameron out when he does a John Major. It is not this election that is important but the next, when the Tory/Labour/Social Democrat coalition has collapsed

I'm a recent member of the libertarian paarty. In an ideal world that is who I'd vote for. However, as my options are limited to the usual suspects at the next election, I'll vote consevative as that's my best option / chance of getting the current thieving, lying shites out of government, hopefully for a very long time.

Mass immigration will continue to dilute the native resistance, elections will be cancelled and the EUSSR takes over.

We can't afford another six years of the same policies Guthrum. It would only bring economic and social collapse. It's now that we need the change.

you make a good case OH , i think deposing the liars and spiv labour party is number one priority closely followed by someone who who doesnt lie about money numbers.

red conservatism , bit tricky with not much spending power, besides some handouts were tory creations in the first place . winston churchill introduced the state pension i think

no time for kaliegh.

when half the uk banking sector becomes state owned in a mere 12 months , and high taxation for decade , i think they will get off lightly with just the ballot box , i think a large proportion of the people would be satisfied with a rub down with a house brick

Personally, I would like to take to Gordon Brown with any of the below

4x2 with a rusty nail in it
Large sock stuffed with a pool ball
A blow torch
The jaws of life
Pliers

George Osborne said:"strong institutions, laws and cultural norms"

There's nowt wrong with those when they are made by the people for the people. Unfortunately what we always get are the constructs of crafty spivs and thieving politicians that get dumped on the rest of us.

Sadly, Gareth's right. We've strayed a long way.

The US realise that there aren't enough libertarians, even with the Free State move.
I still live in hope that DC will be a lot more libertarian than he is letting on. He still has to deal with the client state and a lying opponent in a GE. Listen to his CPS talk a couple of years ago. He *is* getting out of EPP etc.

OT but earlier today (according to BBC News24)some high-up in the Special Operations Wing of Scotland Yard (Bob Quick?)was caught by a press photographer. He was holding papers marked "secret" with outline details of a forthcoming operation.

As soon as this was realised the police had to make hurried raids in Liverpool, Manchester and Clitheroe.

WTF???? Do these morons have to pass a dope test???

It was only a few months ago that Careless Bint was photographed carrying politically sensisitve papers in a CLEAR folder.

Do these cretins never learn?

Just a few decades ago people watchers used to say that the serfs in offices would come to work labouring under the weight of briefcases the size of sofas, while the elite carried ones just big enough to hold their expenses forms. This was to show that they didn't have to bother themselves with the small details.

Now, under New Labour, everybody has to prove that they're no fucking use at all if they want to get on. A Tescos shopping bag would have sufficed to hide the documents FFS. They're certainly more use. And probably more intelligent.

Come on, Vladimir Putin. You can just stroll in and take over. If you see an enormous lump of lard sitting in the Prime Minister's chair in the cabinet room, just tell it there's a photo opportunity with some young boys in Bulgaria and watch it disappear through the door.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The moon is made of green cheese tonight.

(In a Russian accent, not a Talibanese one OK?)

the majority of English people want someone with Balls in charge not a pathetic drama queen like blair or a shit sniffing liar like brown-

out in the real world where we dont have expenses or sread lies every day integrity and guts are needed....

either grow some -tories- or piss off.....

as for the others masquerading as a govt.......

hangemall said...

OH, I should have added that I agree with your twitter

This is not just the Police.
This is NEW LABOUR Police.

Now in a new improved sense.

God help us all. The government cannot and will not. They're too busy helping themselves.

The BBC is now saying it really is Nob Prick who was caught on camera.

5 mins after they are elected the blogs will be full of tory-sleaze, and pocket lining.
