I think we should as well

Taxpayers could be asked to plug a £106 million black hole in a fund providing a second pension for MEPs, to make up for cash lost to fraudulent investment schemes and during the financial crisis.

I need to go for a lie down .More money for Lord Mandy, no wonder he has been quiet.

I struggle to think of a less worthwhile cause. Other than severance pay for Dolly.

If they "could" be asked, couldn't they say "no?"

The fraudulent investment is the EU itself.

Either they are playing the money markets and should shoulder the risk or they should get it out of general EU funds a bit like our State pension. They continue to have it both ways.
