"Libertarians = everyone's free - to be exploited by the money men!"And you prefer the slavery to the State, who ponce off you at everyturnwhat a waste of space
Ignoring the guy's spiel, this sort of video again proves the potency and necessity of a written Constitution for the UK.It's not so much what a Constitution actually says, but its enduring power as a symbol, a rallying point, an embodiment of values across the centuries that folks can lay common claim to.It's no fucking wonder that we haven't got one*.* Before some smart arse says that we have, you know damn well what I mean -- the whole thing contained upon a few sheets of paper, read and understood by many.

How about a responsable state with more democratic accountabilty, rather than the BS ideoligy of the selfish and greedy. But you already have one of those! Aren't you listening to the Main Stream Media? It's the golden age of liberty and talk of a police state is nonsense. NuLabour are all about accountability and democracy, you know. Do not question the message of the MSM - only a larger and more powerful State can make you free.
@Patrick Vessey.Yes, the US Constitution has power as a symbol for the Yanks, but there's no guarantee that you automatically get that with a Constitution. You need a bit more. We have one in Oz and it's basically a load of waffle about the structure of the federal government, Mrs Queen and the Governor General, where the states and territories come in etc. It does almost nothing in protecting the freedoms of Australians because it lacks a Bill of Rights. The UK has a Bill of Rights but most of the country have probably never heard of it, and 646 people who have it would probably prefer that it stays that way. The Yanks started with writing down the freedoms that they were fighting us for, and I think the symbolism has never really gone away for many of them.
the u.s constitution has been almost wiped out by dubya bush and his cronies.whatever freedoms are imagined by decent people a bunch of criminals will always come along and fuck joe public........maybe force will turn out to be the only catalyst for change?
maybe force will turn out to be the only catalyst for change?Yup, worked for Adolf for a while but then..................
"How about a responsable state with more democratic accountabilty, rather than the BS ideoligy of the selfish and greedy".Two men come up to another man, pull a gun on him.You greedy selfish bastard, we are the majority here 2:1 give us your money. Right get back to work and earn some more we will be back later. We are going to redistribute this round our fourteen kids, the off licence, and start a fight with two of the neighbours on your behalf.Thats Democratic accountability for you !How about the State getting a thick ear and told to fuck off
Replace "America" with "Great Britain", change a few numbers, and it sounds awfully familiar....
Thatcherism on acid? Whats that then, selling off all the utilities for fuck all to foriegners whilst enthusing about the incredible traces your getting when you move your hand?
Silly people! Freedom is for the wealthy and the political classes, they must be allowed to go about their business unhindered, it's not for you lot! You'd get ideas above your station if you were "free"!
