Smile Please Reminder

Only we are allowed to take pictures, not you

Following on from the outrageous news that we are no longer to be allowed to photograph the Stasi beating us up, punishable by up to ten years in prison, there is to be an "event" on Monday 16th February at New Scotland Yard, Broadway, Westminster, London, Britistan between 11am- Noon. Further details will follow.

Mark Thomas will also be there. Whoever he is

I will be wandering my merry way down there to exercise my soon to be abolished right to take a photograph in public. You'll recognise me. I shall be dressed as I normally am on such occassions.

Old Holborn exercising what little rights remain in this shit hole of a country last November 5th

UPDATE: Masks, hats, gloves, wigs available

See you there. 11am, Monday, New Scotland Yard (Mr Creedy's house)

I must have missed this news. We aren't allowed to photograph coppers in action? But we can be CCTVed willy nilly. We can't take photographs in public legally now? Bollocks to that. Got a link or is it all over the MSM?

Been shifting snow and so out of touch.

Haven't been to that boozer for years. Hire a police woman stripper and I'll take piccys of that instead, or is that illegal as well?

It seems that not all the plod farces have been taking the ZNL message seriously enough. Some are reported to be unprpared to deal with mass civil disobedience.

Awwwww, OH, why a Monday, couldn't you have chosen a better day?

I now have a massive dilemama, skip uni lectures (which contain content that counts to my marks) and attend your walk, or, sit in my lectures...

Perhaps it's time to invest in some Spy Equipment

This site has cameras in sunglasses, pens, baseball caps and even one hidden in a book!

You might get some interesting shots :)

I won't be there for the 16th, however I will definitely see you again on 5/11.

I've cancelled my pension. I can't plan my career any further. I don't see any alternative in the next 10 years other than death or prison.

On we go.

I'm there OH. I've started advertising November 5th too in different places. Best to start early.

I will definitely be there to add a Portsmouth angle on things. No way we should have our right to take photographs removed.

I'm up in Manchester. Anyone have an idea of numbers? I'd be willing to come if there ends up being more than just handful.

Old Holborn said...

Facebook tells me that nearly 200 are attending.

So you're all going in fancy dress, eh ?

Wow that will *really* shake the gummint to its very core, that will.

What a bunch of idiots you are...

Ok holborne, I will try and be there...

The Economic Voice said...

Does that also mean we can't photograph and film them running away from riots?

Custard said...

Another chance to give the costume an airing so soon!

See you there OH

By my reckoning, the walk from New Scotland Yard to the pub takes you through Parliament Square ... in that outfit.

What fun.

Anonymous said...

Walking within 1 mile of the Houses of Parlimentals could see you arrested for protesting without a Stasi issued license...

WTF is worse, the Stasi or the stupid cunt bitch running them...

Arseholes said...

Anon 11:05 - You're a bit of a cunt really aren't you.

Mohammed Smith said...

So what if you get arrested, what's the worse that can happen?

Declare yourself a Muslim and you'll be out in time for evening call to prayer with £500 compo in your pocket

"Anon 11:05 - You're a bit of a cunt really aren't you."

If you say so. Aaw, diddums... did the nasty man spoil your Fancy Dress Party ?

Actually, there's an idea... why not change the name from Libertarian Party to 'Fancy Dress Party' ?

At least that would be an honest reflection of your political ambitions.

You bunch of pathetic cock-ends.

Anon 11:05 - got anything intelligent to add you sad fuck?

I did turn up, I drove from Manchester, and was late due to various issues. There were a few people there when we turned up, but most had gone by then (12.30pm). Even so, still worth turning up because someone has to make a stand. Got some decent photos. An expensive day in all, and due to caning it silly on the last part of the journey i'm now worried I may have some speeding fines/ban in the post as I was hitting over 100mph on the M1 where possible.
