On The One Hand, The IMF. OnThe Other, McBroon.

It's just so difficult to know who to believe.

On the one hand we have the Prime Mentalist, who is claiming that we'll be making a recovery in the next few months and hinting at tax cuts.

On the other we have warnings from the International Monetary Fund that Britain faces the worst recession since the Second World War and the worst of any industrialised country this year.

It predicts that UK growth will come in at a dismal 0.2 per cent for 2010, effectively leaving the country in recession up until the next election.

Gordon is a proven liar, squirming and twisting as he tries to buy a bit more time at the trough.

Who should one believe? Hmmmmm, tricky.

I wouldn't say it's tricky at all. As you said "Gordon is a proven liar"

My money (what's left of it) is on the IMF's version

"Who should one believe?" Not the one Eyed Scottish Idiot, that's for sure...

Oops... what I meant to say was How dare you question the master of the universe? Who the FUCK are you?

Much Love (to all fictional super heroes and grotty coffee shop owners, everywhere)

I'm a little concerned the IMF will not have any funds available for us.There is now quite a queue forming.
