The Banks are lending again!

Er, no, not to you.....don't be daft!

The Times on-line is reporting that RBS, which is 68 per cent owned by taxpayers after a £20 billion government bailout, is offering its staff loans against the bonuses that they are owed but which have been deferred until 2010 under a deal with the Government.

Remember how you cheered when you heard that Gordon Brown was going to stop tax payers money being used for cash bonuses?

Indeed it is not; it is being used for loans, just like Gordie wanted........to bank staff who should have got a cash bonus.....

Gordon would have been slaughtered over this one, may still be.

it's either banned or compulsory said...

Unlike the loan guarantees to small businesses that the Government says are available but which small businesses say the bank branches know nothing about.

I wish our "world class" financial system and its "you've got to pay top money if you want the best brains" senior management, would just fuck off and die.

What our Glorious One-Eyed Leader fails to make us aware of with all his nonsense about bailing out his banking buddies so that they can begin lending again is that over 40% of borrowings does not involve banks but is from private loan companies, catalogues, car-dealerships etc. etc.

The only Prime Minister of Britain who has ever been assasinated is Spencer Percival, perhaps we need a successor....? Then again, there are plenty more agents of International Finance waiting in the wings!!

I fucking hate Gordon Brown with a loathing that will most likely only find it's fullest expression when I find myself destitute as a pensioner and that fuckpig Fabian cuntox thinks he's home and dry in Scotland with a gold plated pension paid for by me.

I'm with you Mikey, I'll bring the long bow and goose fletched arrows and we'll nail that sucker straight through his rheumy eye.

He'll ne'er be dry in Scotland... but then, is anyone?
