I Am No Longer A Citizen, I Am A Prisoner

Raedwald has probably the best post of 2009 up to date

The EU has decided that we are all criminals now and the following will put British Citizens on the EU subversives list.

This EU Council decision of 20th January [PDF] on the establishment of a pan-EU 'criminal' database includes the following 'offences':

* Offences related to waste

* Unintentional environmental offences

* Insult of the State, Nation or State symbols

* Insult or resistance to a representative of public authority

* Public order offences, breach of the public peace

* Revealing a secret or breaching an obligation of secrecy

* Unintentional damage or destruction of property

* Offences against migration law—an "Open category" (offences undefined thus all encompassing)

* Offences against military obligations—an "Open category" (offences undefined thus all encompassing)

* Unauthorised entry or residence

* Other offences—an "Open category" (offences undefined thus all encompassing)

* Other unintentional offences

* Prohibition from frequenting some places

* Prohibition from entry to a mass event

* Placement under electronic surveillance ("fixed or mobile"—e.g., home, car, mobile phone etc)

* Withdrawal of a hunting / fishing license

* Prohibition to play certain games/sports

* Prohibition from national territory

* Personal obligation—an "Open category" (offences undefined thus all encompassing)

* "Fine"—all fines, inc. minor non-criminal offences

It is now the duty of everybody to resist this Government, and its EU overlords just to make sure I get on the list (I already am, virtue of six points on my licence and 'other unintentional offences' , nice catchall that one) I am burning a State symbol online, I suggest if you have a blog you do the same.

Remember that Labour,Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats have not raised a murmer about this.

UPDATE

I have a meeting in one hour where I intend to get on the list for this thought crime.

* Insult or resistance to a representative of public authority

I have only speed read this pdf. file. Whilst couched in terms of generality, just about every way of resistance to the EU state is criminalised in word, thought or deed. We have been royally fucked.

Just by being a member of a legal political party I am already branded a criminal. Good eh.

Can the EU outlaw this lot?.

Lord Taylor of Blackburn in the County of Lancaster, 79

A friend of the Justice Secretary and Blackburn MP, Jack Straw, Lord Taylor was a councilor in the Lancashire town for 22 years before he was made a life peer by James Callaghan in 1978.

A former Justice of the Peace in Blackburn, he has been a consultant for British Aerospace and currently lists five other consultancies including the credit information company Experian and the technology giant Lucent. He also has three non-executive directorships and is president of the Wren's Hotel group which runs a luxury spa hotel in Windsor.

He said yesterday that he knew the investigative team had been "up to certain tricks" and denied breaking the rules of the House, adding that the agreement was "their suggestion, not my suggestion" and that he never agreed to it.

He added: "As far as I'm concerned I have been in the House of Lords for 31 years and have never tabled an amendment – I've never had the necessity to do so and can't see the necessity to do so.

"I slipped up once and didn't declare an interest but I recognised it and corrected it a few hours afterwards, otherwise I have always kept within the rules and regulations of the House and within the law.

"I have seen no-one about this matter – I have not spoken to a single civil servant, minister or secretary of state. I am not going into the whole thing but I am quite clear that I have done everything within the law."

Lord Taylor was born Thomas Taylor and educated at Blakey Moor Elementary school in Blackburn.

He was on the council of Lancaster University for more than 30 years, chairman of the National Committee on School Management before being enobled, and has advised Margaret Thatcher.

Among his political interests are education, railways, the North West and Croatia – the chairman of Wren's hotels in Croatian.

Lord Taylor lives in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, is married with one son, and lists his past times as gardening, books, radio and music.

Lord Truscott of St James's in the City of Westminster, 49

Lord Truscott, who is married to the daughter of a St Petersburg professor, has advised Tony Blair on Russia and written a biography of Putin.

Since leaving the government 18 months ago, where he served as energy minister, he has acquired seven consultancies and four non-executive directorships, as well as advising the giant Russian state gas company Gazprom.

He was so keen to take up the consulting portion with the undercover reporters that he emailed them his CV after meeting them at a London hotel.

There was no response yesterday at his flat in St James's, central London, but he said earlier: "All I was going to do was assist [the reporters] to make their case so they could lobby to make amendments."

A former political organiser for the Labour party and worker for the National Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders, he has also been an adviser to the European Commission, a member of the Institute for Public Police Research and an associate research fellow at the Royal United Services Institute.

As Peter Derek Truscott, he contested Torbay for Labour in 1992 unsuccessfully and became MEP for Hertfordshire in 1994.

He was made a life peer in 2004 and has served as a liaison for the Ministry of Defence in the House of Lords and as a minister for the Department for Trade and Industry.

Lord Truscott has advised Labour's National Executive Committee on domestic and international policy and lists his political interest as foreign affairs, defence, energy, Russia and the former Soviet Union.

Educated at Newtown Abbott Grammar School and Knowles Hill Comprehensive in Newton Abbott, Devon, he went on to Exeter College, Oxford, where he studied modern history and gained a doctorate in 1985.

He lists his recreations as walking, swimming, theatre and travel.

Lord Moonie of Bennochy in Fife, 59

Lord Moonie is a friend of Gordon Brown's, giving up his Fife seat when constituency borders were re-drawn to ensure Mr Brown kept his.

He was the MP for Kirkcaldy, neighbouring Gordon Brown's constituency, between 1987 and 2005, and served as a front bench spokesman on Trade and Industry in the 1990s before going on to be the Minister for Veterans from 2000 to 2003.

There was no response at his homes in Fife or Pimlico, central London, yesterday but he said earlier that he had an "informal conversation" after which a "ballpark figure" was suggested of what it might cost if the lobbyists were to take his advice.

But he insisted that he did not agree to amend any legislation and added: "No contract was offered and I have not had a chance to speak to the registrar about it, as I would have done had I intended to take on work of this kind."

Born Lewis George Moonie, the son of an accountant, and educated at Grove Academy in Dundee, St Andrew's University and Edinburgh University, he is a former doctor and member of the Royal College of Psychiatry.

He worked as a medical adviser to the pharmaceuticals industry in the 1970s, served of Fife Health board in the 1980s and is a member of the Trade and General Workers Union.

He was created a life peer in 2005 and is on the economic affairs and finance committees.

Lord Moonie, who is married with two sons, lists his political interests as technology, defence and economic policy and his recreations as fishing, walking, golf and bridge.

Lord Snape of Wednesbury in the County of West Midlands, 66

A former whip in the House of Commons, Lord Snape is a close friend of John Prescott and has a reputation as a former fixer for Tony Blair.

There was no response at his homes in Hall Green, Birmingham, or Bayswater, West London, but he issued a statement over the weekend in which he said he had made it clear to reporters that he was unable to "initiate or amend any legislation on behalf of an individual or a company" but thought the proposals could be "beneficial" and agreed to "investigate" further.

Born Peter Charles Snape, the son of a railway chargeman, he was educated at Dialstone Secondary Modern in Stockport, Lancashire,

He served in the Royal Engineers and Royal Corps of Transport between 1961 and 1967 and went on to be a goods guard and clerical officer for British Rail.

He remains a member of the Rail Maritime and Transport Union and served as MP for Wast Bromwich East and a government whip in the 1970s, going on to be an opposition spokesman on defence, home affairs and transport.

He was created a life peer in 2004 and was a member of the House of Lords Procedure Committee from 2005 to 2007.

Lord Snape married his second wife in 2004 and has two daughters from his first marriage.

He lists his political interests as transport and his recreations and golf and soccer.

We hear men speaking for us of new laws strong and sweet,
Yet is there no man speaketh as we speak in the street.
It may be we shall rise the last as Frenchmen rose the first,
Our wrath come after Russia's wrath and our wrath be the worst.
It may be we are meant to mark with our riot and our rest
God's scorn for all men governing. It may be beer is best.
But we are the people of England; and we have not spoken yet.
Smile at us, pay us, pass us. But do not quite forget.

I feel so absolutely helpless! Various comments above have an element of humour to them which I feel is necessary considering all... But, for fuck's sake! This is SERIOUS! If nothing else, can you imagine the amount of bureaucratic time and our money that has been spent just putting that shit together. Then, let's go into the fucking consequences of ending up in court and finding you have 'previous' for not playing the game according to the rules or wiping your arse on the EU flag (Thought! Bog roll with EU flag on each sheet - anyone know a good printer?)

It seems to me that anyone NOT on this fucking list is probably brain dead anyway.

Seriously, just for a start, the UK needs out of the EU. Cunts the lot of them..

I've got the barbecue. Anyone got a spare flag?

I cannot believe the speed inwhich our liberties are being eroded. Everything is a smokescreen to chip away at our freedom.

All we need is another 9/11 or 7/7 and more harmful laws will be passed under the guise of protecting us.

Bastards.

Oh no ! Got your flag burning vid in me Temp Internet Files OH so it'll be off to the EU Gulag for me shortly.

"The EU and their raggedy rag ringo' stars are a bunch of facist cunts".
Legislators legislating for legistations sake, no more, no less; it's what Europeans do. When they are prepared to send soldiers to conflict zones then perhaps I might take more notice of them.

"Prohibition to play certain games/sports" WTF is that all about ?

Is that enough to get on their poxy list ?

What can I do. I have a white hot rage burning me up inside. I thought the go 4th site was a pisstake. Christ, I can't handle another 4 weeks of these cnuts let alone another term. I'm afraid that direct action is the only thing that will get their attention and if their stormtroopers in blue end up as collateral damage then so be it.
