Worthwhile Viewing

If you have an hour to spare and can't stand yet more drivel on TV, watch this instead

It is in reference to Common Purpose.

I watched this a while ago and it inspired me to see if they're active here in Ireland. They are. I have enquired about doing a 'graduate course'to see what it's like from within. Unless they want lots of dosh for it I am tempted to do the course so I can report back.....
Later, JD.

So in summary then, this is a 'charity' that takes people in positions of power mostly in all the layers of Government and the Public sector (with a few private sector mugs as well), gives them diversity training, explains how 'everyone depends on everyone else' - basically socialism without saying as much - and then basically plugs them into a massive 'favours' network - where they each agree to help each other out, meet each other and try to 'change society' for the better.

Hmmm... Elsworth Toohey would like this.

How can they get away with charging so much for their 'training programmes' if they're a charity? Isn't this blatantly political, too? I mean, 'everyone depends on everyone else' is manifestly a political ideology.. this sort of stuff could really make you paranoid.

It's rather worrying that this post has only got 4 replies so far - is that an indication of how deep in the sh!t we really are? I've just watched all the way through the video and it scares the crap out of me. You see things like this in SciFi films, but never really think it could actually happen....

Keep an eye on the Haringey review of Baby P.

Haringey are being defended by a senior common purpose officer, Margaret Eaton.
