Apologies to Guido

By the way, comments ARE allowed on my blog

Fuck me are you now running Rich and Mark toons too?

They've actually made an effort here. If I was Guido I'd complain.

That's a better cartoon than the one on Guido's.

BTW does anyone know why the whole comments thread has disappeared on Guido's blog?

Too many comments sympathetic to the BNP perhaps?

it's Mctwat with a taser proof vest.

it's clearly Hilary Benn - far easier to identify than a Rich and Mark jobbie.

bogeyman said...

OH, perhaps the reason people don't comment is that it's none too obvious HOW to comment.

Why should I think "Shat out by Old Holborn... 5 people want to sleep with me" is the button to push?

Get it sorted and stop trying to be clever.

Is Guido really a Libertarian? said...

Not a Western Oriental Gentleman:

The comments section for the cartoon post at Guido's, was quickly becoming a B.N.P. love in, and worryingly enough for Guido himself, was that these comments came, not from the B.N.P. themselves, but HIS own people....

As the post at 23.35 mentions there was a comments thread (with over 30 last time I looked) but Guido deleted the whole thread.

OH: Sent Mrs Shoeretread a resign note on Baby P here FYI is council's emailed response just received:
Thank you for your recent email concerning the tragic death of Baby P.

Our duty is to protect children in Haringey. I am truly sorry that we
did not do more to protect him from the people that inflicted such
horrific injuries.

When he died, we immediately set up a review. However, the Government
has ordered a further review of all agencies involved in this case. The
review is being carried out by the three watchdogs which oversee the
work of Haringey Council, the police and the health service - the three
services which were leading in the efforts to protect Baby P.

I can assure you that Haringey Council is co-operating fully with the
review and will implement every recommendation it makes so that we can
improve the way we protect local children.

The watchdogs are due to report to Government by December 1. We
anticipate that the findings of the review will be published, if you
would like us to tell you how to access the findings, please reply to
this email and we will send you details as soon as they become

Again, can I stress that we are truly sorry for what happened. We will
do everything we can to reduce the risk of this happening again.

(A copy of the original review into what happened is at:

Yours Sincerely,

Dr Ita O'Donovan

and then they came for me! said...

You can tell it's a fake - richandmark were never that good, and besides it has no explanitory notes plastered all over it!

Very strange that Guido refuses to report on Labour and their media whores overt state oppression, political arrests, abuse and torture of a legal political party - the BNP, Hell he has even joined in!

What a cunt.

Wonder if he will be bothered when they come for the bloggers, and mark my words - they will!

nmedia blackout on u.k. DNA extraction torture methods said...

How the Labour stazi get DNA from innocent people who passively refuse to give DNA as they have not been charged with anything but happen to support another party, in this case the BNP, perhaps next it will be the Libertarians when standing up for basic freedoms and human rights?

Oh and there is a mainstreme media blackout on this story - who are the press working for, us or the corrupt and dangerous political elite?

“They then somehow applied a tremendous pressure behind my ears, inflicting great pain,” he continued. Photographs taken shortly afterwards clearly showed bleeding from wounds sustained behind both Mr Tierney’s ears.

Next, the guardians of democracy applied some kind of pressure to his arms and his side, once again leaving considerable bruising, evidenced again by photographs taken shortly after his release.

“They then pulled my head back so far that my windpipe was restricted, and while I was gasping for air, applied pressure to the front of my neck as well,” he said. Nearly collapsing from the pain and lack of oxygen, Mr Tierney was then unable to prevent the policemen from taking his fingerprints.

“Next they grabbed hold of my nose, and once again somehow applied the most penetrating pressure to the back of my neck, forcing my mouth open to take a DNA swab,” he continued. The whole episode lasted at least a quarter of an hour, and Mr Tierney was left shaken and in pain,

The above experience sounds remarkably like the torture mentioned here in an article about claims of torture at Guantanamo Bay.

“The MPs [military police] inflicted so much pain, Mr Aamer said he thought he was going to die. The MPs pressed on pressure points all over his body: his temples, just under his jawline, in the hollow beneath his ears. They choked him. They bent his nose so hard he thought it would break.”

No it seems fine now, but there was a well known attack in May around the time of the elections(strange that!) - it was down on and off for weeks due to these attacks.

In the end they changed to multiple rotated servers so it could only be taken down until the next server kicked in every so often.

Political oppression is alive and well and not reported in the mainstreme unless they are overtly trying to intimidate and influence.

Things will get much worse as the BNP have no sign of losing current momentum.

The Penguin said...

Yes, seems OK now - but a curious co-incidence I don't think, the government are trying to suppress reporting of the heavyhanded tactics of the plod in scouseland.

I dislike the BNP, but they have every right to operate provided they do so within the law, and official harrassment of a legitimate political party is dangerous and worrying.
